FHDC's Ramon Ramirez Fund
We invite you, our valued partners and community members who believe in our mission, to join us in celebrating and supporting the families who feed our state and enrich the diversity of our communities. FHDC created the Ramon Ramirez Fund to ensure our communities are safe, housed, supported, and recognized for their hard work and resilience.
How far your support can go:
$20/month for a year provides food for an FHDC family for a month
$75/month for a year provides rent for a family for one month
$200/month for a year provides rent and food for a family for 2 months
$500/month for a year provides rent and food for a family for 5 months
To honor the legacy of our Farmworker families and one of our founding members, Ramon Ramirez, the fund provides critical support for Farmworker families.
Your contribution will:
Support affordable housing: Assist families with rental assistance and move-in costs to support stable housing and show our families that they are not alone during these trying times.
Empower communities: Deliver financial literacy workshops and youth educational programs that break cycles of poverty and build thriving futures.
Bring year-round joy to our communities: Funding holiday and community celebrations throughout the year in Woodburn, Salem, Independence, Lebanon, and Silverton for our families with food distributions and gifts for youth.
We hope we can count on your support! Thank you for believing in FHDC’s mission. For questions about this fund, please email: RamonMartinez@fhdc.org
